Version 0.14.0 Released

We haven’t had a blog post in quite some time - mostly because simple Tweets were enough to give updates. But this update is different - or, to be more precise - too big for a Tweet.

Changelog

General

• Improved all “assumption crawlers” (e.g. Otto) to be less likely to post false positives
• Improved the overall performance of all bots by adjusting the polling frequency
• Lots of “behind the scenes” stuff

Twitter

• Tweets have been completely reworked:

  • included price
  • improved readability
• “Out of stock” tweets are now replies to the associated “In Stock” tweet (or ignored if there’s no “In Stock” tweet)

Discord

• Discord notifications have been completely reworked:

  • included price
  • improved readability
• “Out of stock” tweets are no longer shown on the Discord server

Bots

  • Added MediaMarkt/Saturn tracking
  • Disabled Amazon.ca tracking
  • Disabled BestBuy tracking
  • Disabled Newegg tracking
